This past year, I contacted a tech company whose employee count just hit 50+ Full-Time Equivalents.

They had an expensive traditional health plan, and only a handful of employees enrolled, mostly because of the very high premiums. The rest of the lower-paid employees were left to enroll in the ACA individual plans because they qualified for tax credits from ObamaCare.

We replaced the expensive legacy plan with a Level-Funded plan, saving them 32% and supplying richer benefits.

The vast majority of the remaining employees were single. The new single rate was very low, and most of them enrolled in the new PPO Plan.
